Sustainable Microenterprise and Resilient Transformation (SMART) Project

Since July 2025, a three-year sub-project titled “Promoting Sustainable Mini Garments through RECP Practices” has been launched at the organizational level under the Sustainable Microenterprise and Resilient Transformation (SMART) Project of PKSF.

The project will primarily work to support and develop small entrepreneurs involved in the existing mini ready-made garments sector in Pabna District.

For the implementation of the RECP, a total of BDT 1,080,519 was disbursed as one-time grants to 63 entrepreneurs during April 2026. As of now, a cumulative total of BDT 2,519,999 has been provided as one-time grants to 156 entrepreneurs.

The project has a total of 569 members, and loans amounting to BDT 115,670,000 have been disbursed under the project.

Since OSACA’s inception in 1994, it has been trying hard to eradicate the poverty level. Who would have dared to project a program in such a remote area like Chargorgori and its surrounding villages under Ishwardi Upazila of Pabna District in Bangladesh.
